New adventures in the south
Yesterday we wnt to Neeltje Jan's to look at how the Dutch stop the water from flooding their land. Really interesting. We also said hello to the seals, looked at the fish in the tanks and went into a windtunnel to feel how wind at 135 km/h feels. In 1953 the Netherlands had a big storm and the sea went up to 3, somehing, and drowned a lot of houses and people. After that they built the watergates.
Today we will go watch some kind of horsegame where men on horses with sticks are picking rings.
And tomorrow is the big touristday. We are going to Amsterdam with Opa to see some of the town. We will go to the Anne Frank house as well. I really look forward to it, Anne Franks dairy was one of my favourite books when I was younger, I couldn't really understand how someone could exist under such circumstances.
Now we will have some coffee, and then it's off to the horses!
